These stories can be read anytime but are very suitable as bedtime stories for 3-5 year olds.
Benji is a lively 3-year old boy who loves to help solving problems. In this collection he deals with changing names with a rabbit and with helping a hungry giraffe get snacks. He saves two little piglets from being eaten by a magic shark, and convinces two elephants to stay in the zoo. Finally he helps a monkey to go to school and learn his numbers
Parents/grandparents are welcome to change certain elements in the stories to match them with the level of knowledge of their children/grandchildren or to use them to teach their children/grandchildren something new. For instance, the questions in story one, the nature of the snacks in story two, the destination of the elephants in story four and the questions about numbers in story five can all be adapted to the level of understanding of the children listening to the stories.
